What Agile does

Our company is applying cutting edge technology to agriculture by developing a fully automated embedded system than can be installed in every tractor and increases yield productivity while saving inputs. it’s called EyeQ . It allows a controlled method of fertilization for cereals which is determined by actual crop need, rather than the guesswork of farmers. Not only does this boost efficiency, but it is also profitable both for the environment and the farmer’s bottom line. Moreover, the system is ‘smart’ in that it learns each time it is applied, meaning that optimal results are always achieved. Data plays a key role in the process.

Data Analysis

Data gathering and processing are core to the development of ‘smart’ systems like EyeQ. Through personal experience with farming, we realise that nature can not be modelled on simple algorithms. Rather, complex machine learning techniques which require ‘big data’ collection are required.  The EyeQ system incorporates such techniques to ensure optimal performance. Farmers and agronomists are given web accounts from which they have simple, user-friendly access to the data so that they can make informed decisions about fertilization requirements. While fertilizing, EyeQ uses the data to automatically vary the rate of fertilizer spread based on crop requirements – taking the guesswork out of the equation and leaving the farmer confident of high yields.

We keep all that, under the “hood” and visualize only what is absolutely necessary! This is our web platform, in which the farmers and agronomists have special accounts.
